Con profundo dolor, su familia anuncia el fallecimiento de Luisa Fernanda Ortega Restrepo, quien partió a la presencia de Dios el día 3 de junio de 2025, a los 36 años de edad, en la tranquilidad de su hogar en Windsor, rodeada de toda su familia y colmada de amor hasta el último minuto.

Nacida el 10 de noviembre de 1988 en Medellín, Colombia, Luisa Fernanda fue una mujer ejemplar, administradora de empresas de profesión y dedicada a su hogar por vocación. Su mayor orgullo fue su familia, a la que entregó su vida con ternura, fortaleza y fe inquebrantable. Durante dos años y medio, luchó con valentía y dignidad contra el cáncer de seno, afrontando cada día con esperanza y entereza, convirtiéndose en una inspiración para todos quienes la conocieron. Le sobreviven su amado esposo Diego Valdés, su pequeño hijo Emmanuel Valdés Ortega, de tan solo 2 años, su madre Luz Stella Restrepo, su padre Carlos Alberto Ortega, y sus hermanos Ana María, Jessica, Alexandra y Carlos Arturo, así como sus queridos 8 sobrinos, quienes la aman con toda el alma. También deja un profundo vacío en el corazón de sus cuñados, quienes la consideraban una hermana más y en amigos a quienes impactó con su luz.

El servicio funerario en memoria de Luisa Fernanda Ortega Restrepo se realizará el sábado 7 de junio, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Keefe Funeral Home, situado en Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865. La Santa Eucaristía tendrá lugar el domingo 8 de junio a las 4:00 p.m. en la iglesia Santa Ana, ubicada en 2 Russo St, Providence, RI 02904. La familia expresa su profundo agradecimiento por las oraciones, el cariño y el apoyo brindados durante estos momentos difíciles. With deep sorrow, her family announces the passing of Luisa Fernanda Ortega Restrepo, who departed to be in the presence of God on June 3, 2025, at the age of 36. She passed peacefully at her home in Windsor, surrounded by her entire family and filled with love until her final moment.

Born on November 10, 1988, in Medellín, Colombia, Luisa Fernanda was an exemplary woman—a business administrator by profession and a devoted homemaker by vocation. Her greatest pride was her family, to whom she dedicated her life with tenderness, strength, and unwavering faith.

For two and a half years, she bravely and gracefully battled breast cancer, facing each day with hope and resilience, becoming an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband Diego Valdés; her young son, Emmanuel Valdés Ortega, just 2 years old; her mother, Luz Stella Restrepo; her father, Carlos Alberto Ortega; and her siblings Ana María, Jessica, Alexandra, and Carlos Arturo, as well as her cherished eight nieces and nephews, who love her with all their hearts. She also leaves a deep void in the hearts of her brothers- and sisters-in-law, who saw her as one of their own, and in the lives of friends touched by her light.

The funeral service in memory of Luisa Fernanda Ortega Restrepo will be held on Saturday, June 7th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Keefe Funeral Home, located at Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865. The Holy Eucharist will take place on Sunday, June 8th at 4:00 PM at Santa Ana Church, located at 2 Russo St, Providence, RI 02904. The family sincerely appreciates the prayers, love, and support received during this difficult time. Luisa Fernanda leaves a legacy of love, strength, and light that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
